Haha, great video - I suppose that mainly shows the "arcade" aspects of your year? One Question though - at ~ 7:00, you're shooting out of a car - is that a specific addon/mod or is it implemented in the vehicle? o:

@LeonBeilmann it's a script that a member of ShackTac made, and attached to the vehicle for the purposes of the mission

This just reconfirms my feeling that ARMA is a heavily-decorated, larger-scale, and slower version of any other military shooter. You can't really feel the difference unless you're actually sniping, dealing with full bullet physics. Battlefield and Call of Duty both have hardcore, and Battlefield 3's hardcore feels just right. It isn't more satisfying to get the same kill just because I ran for 20 minutes straight to the combat zone. Might as well have respawning and start IN the combat zone

@nemesisurvivorleon I'm not a fan of the hardcore mode in either of those two games, they completely wreck weapon balance. For example in Call of Duty, hardcore leaves you with a maximum health of 30, while the majority of guns do 30 or more damage before fall off. I would agree with you though, that COD and BF are more for people who want instant feedback, but I can't say that I've ever had an experience with them on the level of Arma. I also find Arma has more replayability

@Terminalord Lol bf3 on max graphics doesn't mean anything. You use Nvidia correct? That's why you can max it. Get a better comp and you can max Arma OA XD

@MasterTehCheese I reinstalled it to see how it is. They did improve some of the net code so not as much rubber banding. The game still runs like a dog unless you lower the graphics to a point that it is just ugly as hell. Normally I would chalk it up to my computer but I run a stead 50 fps on ultimate mode in BF3, I know my hardware can handle it. Maybe Arma3 will be better but this is still a sub par game.

@Terminalord i played some arma last night and it didn't seem to have those issues. my friend told me they put out a big patch that fixed those issues a few months ago. i think in some of these clips there is better performance.
