Doesdesign is the website of Goldsmith and Silversmith Birgit Doesborg. She works at 's-Hertogenbosch in her own studio. She practices as one of the few Goldsmiths in the Netherland the technique Mokume-gane.This is an old (17th century) Japanese metalworking technique where different types of metal layers are forged together with high temperature and pressure . With this technique she develops her own style jewelry, wedding rings and objects.
