@jcwelover yeah, Elpheba and Glinda have a full time Standby, who are always there - they have rehearsal time, but i think the standby was sick, or on holiday. the understudy will have little or no rehearsal, it might have even be the first time she flew! that would be sooo scary and to pull off an amazing performance like that is exceptional :D

how much rehearsal do the standby's get? is (was) she a swing, that is such a hard thing to do! major kudos to her for that :)

i actually saw this show...it honestly sounded soo so much better live than on here. fives times better. she sounded amazing.

Wow, I can't believe this is from her first full show, she souns amazing.
I went to see her on Monday but was gutted 'cause she went off after Popular!
She kind of reminds me of Kerry Ellis (well her voice does anyway), but with a lot more character.

Yes - her first show was phenomenal. Nervous, yes, and a few slip ups on dialogue, but just WONDERFUL... I was there on Monday night specially to see her again - so sorry for her that she went off sick!
