Couple move into a cliffside home.. Why are there no mirrors? And what is behind the padlocked attic door? Could it be the dead ?--living for eternity within the reflection of the glass! And what are those images- those vague blurs ? Could it be someone dancing - waiting for their chance-- calling you-- beckoning you into the mirror! Turn off all the lights and don't look for your reflection .. You may see something you will regret The site of a dancing spirit- grabbing for you--- to join them in the glass----FOREVER!

  • This is an adaptation of Robert Bloch's short story "The Hungry House." The story goes into details that the TV show left out, and the ending is slightly different. Believe it or not, it's even scarier!

If you enjoyed the episode, I'd recommend chasing down a copy. I read it in a horror anthology titled Masterpieces of Terror and the Supernatural. The book is out of print, but available used and in libraries. I'm sure the story appears in other anthologies as well.

  • I told my siblings the lady was in the glass in an old dark piece of furniture that had a mirror. We all have been scared of the basement since then!

  • I, too, never forgot this one. Thanks for the upload.

  • Shatner hawtness

  • this and dr markesan scared the hell out of me..

  • 7 years old and seeing the old women and little girl pulling the wife through the mirror -- not something easily forgetten

  • I've never seen Thriller until the DVD came out recently. It was wroth the wait! This is a very creepy episode.

  • Wow, Captain Kirk and the Professor from Gilligan's Island! This is awe-inspiring.

  • I have been looking for this since I first saw it at 11 or 12 - where is the rest, pray tell? Much as I would like to watch this, I can't without the proper exposition - I recall the premise, but it just wouldn't b fun cutting to the chase like this! Agh-!!!

  • mio dio è l'uomo più bello che sia mai esistito, o forse lo amo troppo non lo so, ma quet'uomo mi fa troppo male, è bello in maniera intollerabile T________T
