i love the george diller and lisa malone montages, a few of these flights i havent seen since i was very young. btw, its a little haunting how the sts-34 galileo launch looks like the fatal challenger launch to t-3 seconds.

No, Mark Hess only did a few of the shuttle launches in the early to mid 80s. The guy who did the Apollo 13 countdown was called Chuck Hollinshead, who also did most of the later Apollo launches along with all of Skylab and the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project.

did nasa commentater MARK HESS ever commentate any of the the apollo launches??? his voice sounds just like the man counting down to the apollo 13 launch 1n 1970!!!!
