I spent many happy hours in and around both Alnwick and Alnwick Castle,my Grandfather made things for the Duke and Duchess. It doesn't change much, thankyou for this......I was 60 yesterday but some of the memories here are as clear as a bell like the pork pies and bitter in town and getting to see the loo and dungeon at the castle! i guess alnwick looks good to outsiders but living here is crap. there is nothing for us to do, its very boring.

Hmm... Interesting perspective, I really like living here as do the majority of folk I know. I guess it depends on what your interests are really. Where's your ideal place to live?
