Mutter Museum Inventory

This video pictures an inventory of the Mutter Museum in Philadelphia. The video was created for an educational project in September 2009 at Washington State University. Many images are from the book Mutter Museum: of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia by Gretchen Worden. Search using the title if you would like to purchase the book online.

The music was from youtube's free stock at the time and titled "As Black as War Water" by Worrytrain.

(donated, as in donating their bodies to research). Many disabled people *liked* to perform in freakshows because there were others who understood them there. Many of them couldn't get "normal" jobs. If they are in a museum, it means that the museum obtained legal consent of the disabled person.

Well dugh, most of the stuff are wax models to show what it looked like. They wouldn't put fake stuff in a museum.

There's a similar museum in Edinburgh, Scotland, about 1/2 mile from Princes Street, it's connected with the main Royal Edinburgh Hospital, and used by student doctors. Sad to say in Berlin there is another museum whose dead bodies and body parts was selected from living concentration camp imnates. All these people in this Berlin Museum should be given a decent burial by the German state, in a mixed religious faith burial ceremony.
