  • @bigreddogdagansta Yes, but written by Haydn as Gott Eerhalte Franz den Kaiser, an anthem for the Emperor of Austria. The Germans borrowed the tune. In some English hymnals, the melody is used for "Glorious Things of Thee are Spoken", and in Austria, the melody is sometimes used to accompany the Catholic hymn, Tantum Ergo.
