A very fine recording, particularly impressive in that it was recorded live. I hadn't heard Ms. Brewer in this cantata, and though I'd have expected her to be a tad heavy for this delicate part, she does fine. Some of Sir Andrew's performances can be a tad fussy, but here he's brisk and spiffy. If anything, he could have taken the fourth movement a hair slower for the benefit of the brass. All told, however, quite well done.
