If we don't catch it then it counts! That's the way it should be. Some shows don't catch it right away and then later penalize the contestant for their mistake.
i always HATED the illegal clue rule. I mean YES they are playing as a tem but the contestant shouldn't get penalized just because there partner messed up. thank god that didn't happen in this instance
Yeah. The judges would have to make the toughest decisions ever. If it were played for $5,000, the decision wouldn't be that tough. But for anything higher, depending on the jackpot, the decision would be tough to make.
The reason the judges didn't catch that illegal clue is because they obviously forgot. Besides, they all make mistakes, and they often let people get away with illegal clues scott-free.
I'm guessing a lot of people wanted to be on Super Password cuz they could win without actually following all the rules.

And another thing: Game shows must pay for their mistakes. Letting an illegal clue give the player the win-- Big mistake!

This was only for $5,000, so it's really no big loss. I bet if they were playing for more money, then it would have been a problem.
