I think that building the crossings is a good idea, but if you listened to the video you could still hear the loud sound of vehicles passing. Animals are naturally scared of loud noises. This would explain why it's taking such a long time for them to adapt.

I am impressed with this man's fight for the animals. I for one strongly believe that man needs to slow down on building. Haven't we colonized enough?
