http://www.hddmachine.com - Why Deleting (or reformatting) Your Data is Not Enough!

The Guardian toasts hard drives in about 15 seconds. Great for hard drive disposal.
Made in the USA. Simply push a button to ensure complete physical destruction.

Guard your organization and your data against misappropriation and theft.

A must for universities, government institutions and private businesses!

Like a file room, your hard drive has information physically located in specific areas. When you
delete any file or folder the computer merely tags this space as "available" for future storage.
The information itself resides exactly as it did prior to your delete. In fact, even after new
information replaces the deleted files forensic techniques are available to recover the data.

Using 12,000 lbs of force, The GUARDIAN delivers catastrophic trauma to the hard drive chassis itself, destroying the internal platter, all retrievable files and folders and smashes the hard drive's indexing system making the data left on the bits of the platter useless.

hard drive destroyer, the guardian, document storage, corporate espionage, document management, identity theft, document shredding, NAID, HIPAA, compliance laws, data security, recycle computer, electronics recycling, recycling, spyware, virus, shredding trucks, mobile shredding, records management, software.

  • Why not give it to a four year old? That should do it.

  • look how bulky and expensive, may aswell just buy a hammer 1 blow would do the same damage and you can pick up a hammer for pennies.

  • @Born2killx well its cheaper buying a vice or a sludge hammer rather than buying one of these machines

  • @DRNEGOLICIS Well, I personally own neither a vise nor a sledgehammer, so I'd have to buy those. :P

  • i prefer smashing, sawing, stepping ,throwing, scratching the platter and bending the hard drive

  • why not just put it on a vice and wack it with a sludge hammer its quicker and you dont have to buy any thing
