how is this expert advise? its basically just general fluff. this guy seems to be talking gibberish making up what he has to say as he goes along.
how to write alternative music? there should only be one way and that is to follow your heart. i believe thats how the experts do it. this aint classical music where frameworks guide the way you write. heck you dont even in a fixed structure or a chorus. so just let your imagination run wild and stay true to yourself. you cant go wrong that way.

expert songwriter = LOL, just cause you write songs does not make you an expert at it.
