Funky fusion solo section of my track: "Cape Horn". Scarbee Rhodes/Arturia Minimoog V triggered from the Triton, pad sounds from the Roland JD-800.

  • how can I learn how to play like that? What do I practice?

  • @TheGroovepiano1 Practise composing patterns/lines over different chord changes - try playing whatever you come up with in every key. There are lots of books of exercises/patterns if you're stuck for ideas. Eventually you'll start to naturally come out with new things more quickly as you improvise. Having a good knowledge of scales/chords is useful, and I do quite a bit of classical playing which helps technique

  • where can i find this song? very cool!

  • @ukijhu97 Thanks - it's not available anywhere at the mo, but when I eventually get round to recording an album it'll probably be on it!
