  • Sorry, whats goin on there on this video?

  • I think Jim would be very upset if he were to rise from the grave and see his face al over posters, grinders, buttons, stickers, bongs, pipes, everything. The (remaining) Doors have turned Jim Morrison into a sellout sadly..Jim Morrisons face is EVERYWHERE and we know Jim wouldnt have wanted it tht way....Ray is extremely talented....but he is just tryin to rake in cash. Btw their new lead singer fails..If there should b any singer it should be Ray and Robbie or no other...then John may return

  • It’s one thing to keep the memories alive, but when you keep swapping out lead singers (another way of saying finding the new Jim) then it’s a money machine. Seriously, Ray had to sub for jim numerous times because he couldn’t do a show. It worked then, why can’t it work now? This is why Ray and Robbie can kiss my A*ss. At least the Morrison and Curson estate supports John

  • @smurfman95 you're right. mazarek is 10 times more pretentious than jim ever was on his most drunken night.

  • I think Ray and Robby are just trying to keep Jim's and the Door's legacy alive. We need to make sure the kids of all generations hear this music. And Ray is proud of the music they made. So take it easy on him, he's not a sellout whore.

  • I mean, they were pretty much an obscure sixties band until Danny Sugarman wrote that wierd book. Then, it's like the revival of the Volkswagon Bug put to a rock band. I wish they would leave that particular set of songs alone and concentrate on other stuff. However, they tried that and it just didn't sell, so..."Jim Morrison, Jim Morrison, Jim Morrison" all the way to the bank you corporate whore. Sorry, it's just how I feel.

  • @smurfman95 I actually think he wouldn't mind too much. he always wanted to be in the movies and he thought of himself as a beautiful and iconic person. He did many photoshoots as well. just a thought, i'm not pretending to know him personally or anything.

  • @smurfman95 This is, for the most part, the case with pretty much every "reformed" '60s/'70s band. The few members who aren't dead get back together, play for overly nostalgic hippies on neverending oldies tours across America, and end up looking like a greedy, half-assed tribute act.

  • @smurfman95 John Densmore doesn't deserve to be lumped in with Manzarek and Krieger. He and Morrison's dad the Admiral took Manzarek and Krieger to court for calling themselves the Doors of the 21st Century, when they had Ian Astbury doing vocals. The Doors sans Jim did a VH-1 Storytellers about ten years ago with a myriad of singers doing vocal duties. It was excellent to hear the band playing together sadly they used it as a chance to audition new singers.

  • pffffffffffffft Ray and robbie need to let the band go, The Doors ended 1971. They had one hell of a ride, now go clear up the myth of the band and tell us the real story of the band.

  • Is he trying to summon the spirit of the late Jim Morrison?

  • WHAT THE?!!!!!!
