how do you make the mobs spawn with a lever?

@emma11122 @emma11122 The spawning pads are all directly in front of sticky pistons pushing a block over the pads to deactivate spawning. When I pull the lever it sends a signal to all pistons and they deactivate, pulling the block over the spawning pads back and thus activating mob spawning. When mobs spawn they spawn directly on pressure plates that re-activate those same pistons, instantly pushing them off the pad and sending them to their doom :)

The competition today is pretty imense for things like this, 60,000 per hour isn't much compared to many people, some double this. People here dont know what they're talking about :s.
