Compiz-fusion is Beryl fused with compiz. although beryl is a WAY cooler name, compiz-fusion is better,

bull shit beryl is diffrent than compiz-fusion!
for one it took me like 30 mins to completly configure beryl like i wanted it and it took me about 3 hours to get compiz-fusion working like i wanted it and its still not perfect!

get compiz fusion, it is the same but easier to download

can you please tell me how did you do that???i tried pressing ctrl+alt+t and folowing instructions from some sites,but it doesn't work...

dexonter, i have the 4gb($400) version eee pc. i have unlocked the advanced desktop, but i haven't figured out how to intall the beryl effects. I tried to use the gearlive video and instructions, but it didn't work. PLEASE help me.

@Neon360 : i can add graphics at top and bottom , and yes Beryl was added on the preinstalled linux , but after you onloc the advanced mode
@mik86 : i timed the start : 42.1 seconds
and in easy mode : 27.6 seconds
but the real increase is what u can do in the advanced mode : everything

These little things are pretty impressive. I ordered one and I was planning on putting eeexubuntu on it, but after seeing this, I may just keep xandros.

one little thing....
the EPC comes with eeeXubuntu... it's in the name... "eee"
actually his OS is a mess composed from Ubuntu , Xandros , Gnome , KDE , and others :)
