This lesson consists of providing you with a Self-Tutorial on the basics of equalities and inequalities. I go over how to write results in interval notation, inequality notation, and set (set-builder) notation. I also explain in the printed notes how to use your graphing calculator to help you make comparisons between numbers.

  • on the g.e.d. what do you recommend to study

  • @tremelower I am creating a multi-disc DVD set for GED math where I will give a very good answer to this question. In the mean time, I recommend you buy at least 1 test prep book to guide you. Watching my Basic Math videos here is a good start.

  • why I can not hear your sound, but only music.

  • @calvin02514 Video was recorded in mono, not stereo. New videos will be in stereo. Sorry for this. You need to adjust your audio output.

  • Where are the notes?

  • @paddy110287 Note are in area called "Printshop" in my E-Store on my website.

  • @esteban11a Not a teacher, I'm a tutor; but thanks anyway!

  • @8cookies2 Open dot does NOT include the actual value, the closed dot includes the point. I go over this in more detail in my Algebra lesson: "Solving Linear Inequalities.

  • @bigmac21662 Not sure what you are asking. The only thing I can think of based on info provided is to "switch" the inequality around to 43 > x. I recommend you watch the lesson: "Algebra: Solving Linear Inequalities." By the way, there is no need to send the same comment 3 times. Comments don't appear until I approve them.
