What makes it any less a mass murder when the State denies people food, versus when banks repossess farmers land, they end up landless and starve? What makes the American system, where banks rule any more humane than Stalin if they both ended up depriving people of the resources to live?

We can use the same logic this historian uses to deny the holocaust too. But does that make it right? But russians are defending soviet history by using this type of logic to try and whitewash and deny atrocities.

@klin1klinom Again, I hate the Nazi fanaticism. I am a sympathizer of monarchy, agriculture, hard work, solidarity, and public order and religion. Only the Faith in Jesus Christ can cure Europe of the diseases of chauvinism, communism, liberalism, materialism and egoism. I do not need the Kremlin to tell me what to 'accept'. @klin1klinom You can go on to defend the Soviet war criminals, but it will not convince me, nor any others. You see, my father was a Communist Party member and in a Nazi concentration camp (Amersfoort) during WW2. But he survived. In 1956 he was cured of Stalinism, and by 1960 cured from the Bolshevist disease entirely. My grandmother was very realistic. A cousin of hers had been in Reinhard Gehlen's Ostlegionen division. The Nazis were multicultural. Just read Andrej Vlassov.

I am not brainwashed by the Allied and Soviet propaganda. I do not need Kremlin, Stalin, Pravda, Nuremberg, Washington DC or London or De Gaulle to teach me about contemporary history. @marika19502011 About seven million Ukrainians were murdered, and 3 millions of other peoples, but maybe only 1.5 million as Kuban Cossacks and Kulaks sometimes died in the GULAGs too, and not from Holodomor like most Ukrainian victims indeed did. The problem is that the Kremlin now believes it must reconnect to Soviet imperialism and to Soviet lies. Next year, 2012, Kremlin might also again claim "Germans did Katyn in 1940". Some "evil secret Nazi spies did it". And Israel will believe it.

YOU are right in that there was a collapse of Wall Street, the depression I referred to was agricultural, you must agree,so, Holodomor was real, yes, and the Soviet Gov't of 1931-1934 was solely responsible for genocide when starving about 10 million Ukrainians, this is fact. So, history shoiuld not be forgotten or rewritten because it is distasteful and horriffic for you to admit. Go on denying this is the soviet way.
