I've had days like that. You can't get a bite one day, then go back the next and you can't keep the fish off your hook. I think it has a lot to do with the weather, like high and low pressure systems and fronts. Nice redear by the way.

@rubadux Under the light of the moon I can send flag semaphore messages to passing airplanes.
I knew a woman named Carolina, a flag semophore "operator" in pre-State days. The kibbutz was "hiding" some just landed "illegals." Surrounded and cut off by Brit soldiers, Carolina was on the water tower signaling to the next kibbutz. A Spitfire came around strafing the tower until he had no more ammo. Between passes Carolina would jump up and continue wig-wagging. The Brits left so pissed.
