We bring our cattle in every night, but we only have 75 acres and 60 cows, so I take my hat off to ya with more than twice my number of cows. We recently bought a Holstein steer for 50 dollars, he's a cute little fella. I think we'll just keep him around for fun.

Ha, Dillin is my little brother, and he's right, our cows run away from people. But since they associate the atv with food we can get real close with the machinery. Plus nothing interesting ever happens on our farm, every now and then the calves run and jump off the munure pile, that's pretty funny. But if my dad saw one of our cows go down with 'milk sickness' he would just assume put her out of her missery rather than help her. Your cows are worth more alive than dead, but we raise beef cattle
