Jon Hanusa and Andy Gorzalski bring you their thoughts, movie recommendations and reviews in the time it takes to take an elevator ride in their building.

For the Spooky month of October 2009, Jon and Andy will be recommending a number of horror movies that they feel are under-seen gems.

Fire up Netflix, hit Blockbuster Video (That still exists, right?) and check out these movies. More to come soon, with more movies to go out and find this Halloween.

Today's installment covers 1990's gem, EXORCIST III.

Lt. Kinderman and Father Dyer cheer each other up on the anniversary of the death of their mutual friend, Father Damien Karras, by going to see "It's a Wonderful Life" at the local theater in Georgetown, near Washington D.C. But there's no cheering Kinderman while a particularly cruel and gruesome serial killer is at large. His murders, which involve torture, decapitation and the desecration of religious icons, is bad enough; but they also resemble those of the Gemini Killer, who has been dead for fifteen years

William Peter Blatty made the film based on his novel "Legion," which was published on 1 August 1983. Morgan Creek decided to call it "Exorcist: Legion" even though the screenplay and novel featured no exorcisms. After principal photography completed, Morgan Creek noticed the misleading nature of the title. So Morgan Creek demanded that additional scenes need be written and added into the film to made this film becoming a direct sequel of The Exorcist (1973). Morgan Creek also changed this film's title to "The Exorcist III."
