  • Update:

    I fixed the "drive not visible" by using Disk Utility to erase drive. And then it was visible and I proceeded to format the new drive installing Leopard.

  • "sparedri" page is a 404

    :(

  • i installed the new drive but it does not show when asked where to install the sys 10.5.

    I can not follow through with installing the OS

  • i just completed this process but the new drive is not recognized... i guss i better open it again a make certain the pins are plugged in better.... o r else i bought a bad drive.... i am upgrading to 7200 RPM 500GB drive. from the 300GB 5400 that shipped witht he may manufactured unibody
