Hi, will this work properly with windows7 please?
I just bought an M-audio quattro, which sounds great but win7 don't like it.
Works for a while then something knocks it out.
Cheers

There is about 10 of these units on ebay being sold as NOT WORKING, is this a bad sign? How will this perform with Cubase?

This allows you to record 8 separate, discrete tracks at once. It has a virtual mixer in the interface so you can not only record 8 separate tracks, but it allows you flexible monitoring options.
Or just use a mixer board with it like I do.

Hi, do you know if is possible to connect 2 UX8 interfaces at the same time? or is there a way to make a serial connection between them? this is for a drum kit recording purposes.

what i wanna do is:
play 7 diffrent tracks and send them single to 7 outputs
and use pod farm with 1 guitar for the 8th ouput.
is that possible?

OK, @ ~2.30 when you assign "mic" or "line" SPDIF, do you have 8 discrete source inputs, or are those "vitualized" where you split inputs to different tracks? In other words, can you record up to 8 distinct instrument and microphones? Some recording devices will allow 4 or even 8 tracks but only from a pair of discrete inputs. I know you have 8 inputs, but the question is whether they are forced through a master pair, the way a mixer would, or do you retain 8 distinct independent sources?

or you have recorded a stereo track with a mono instrument ie guitar vocals :D

@AMJMusic09 like you would any other usb audio interface. Connect the ux8 usb to your mac, install the drivers from the line 6 website for the ux8 and then change the input and output setting in system preferences and on the DAW (digital audio workstation), for example, Logic, ProTools etc..

how do you do this on Macbook Pro. I am so confused :(
whats up dude!
i have a question... i have a toneport ux8 too but only sound in the leftside of my speakers... do you know what i'm doing wrong?

@Chivolici0us sounds like one of the following.
a - your speaker isn't in the right jack / or it's faulty
b - you haven't got the right output source selected
c - you have your output source panned to one side - (open your control panel/line 6 set up.
