Wow, who owns a restaurant and is that rude to a customer? Honestly. If someone wanted to pay in pennies I would probably inquire about it and even maybe ask if it would be possible for another method of payment, but I certainly wouldn't say no and treat them like they're an idiot.
Actually, and sorry to burst some angry people's bubble, but you're legally entitled to refuse money if it's more than 25 of one kind. More than 25 one-hundred-dollar bills, more than 25 pennies. Just sayin'...
If a restaurant doesn't take legit money even if its pennies as payment did you know you can actually sue? Yeah. Thats kinda funny. Something about the rejection of material funds as a penny is still money.
blah that was a stupid analogy cause if u compare it to a dollar according to him u would get shredded paper when the real point he's trying to make is that dollars go to pennies which are two different things...steak to liquid steak...it would have to be like steak to bologna or something
Well, some restaurants are well known for their rude waiters, usually at very expensive and good restaurants. But you are right, no reason to be rude. Oh, and the chef is a dumb ass :D
