My grandparents are suvivors of Katrina they lived 2 miles from the Coast of Biloxi. They had 8ft of water in their home. Both laid on a soaking matress for 4 days until FEMA decided to do anything. What you see in these videos may shock you but try being there to see the real aftermath of this hurricane. Shout out to say Fuck George Bush and Fema. My prayers go out to any suvivors and the countless numbers of ppl effected by Katrina.

I live in Marrero which is right over the GNO brigde and when Katrina came my brother mother and i had to leave with my sister and her in-law while my dad stayed back because he works for the levee board. it was hard leaving him and then trying to get in touch with him while in texas was hard even when he said they had to sleep in the vans with winds that could up turn them.Hearing and watching stuff about katrina makes me cry but THANK YOU for making this..

i don't think this was GOD getting angry because even though we lost almost everything we still came together as a city and rebuilt our city and as a 7 year old that was all i could have hoped for

@phrydoom only reason new Orleans was damaged so bad was because the levees gave out. bay st Louise got hit directly. my grandfather wich is white lost everything from 40ft waters over his house everyone went through the same thing down here. BTW MS gulf coast has rebuilt nicely since then

I was in Biloxi MS during katrina and got the edge of the eye wall.... it was so hard to go to my grand fathers house and saw nothin but a big pile where his house used to be..
