10/29/11 he was back at Overlake again. One of my favorite concerts of all time. I had 2nd row seats (video to come). It was good to see him smile again & have fun. On 5/17/08 he announced his oldest daughter called that day to say she was engaged. Tonight he announced Emily is due in 1 mo. But he wants to be referred to as grandude. :) I had 1 mo. left of chemo at that concert (met Bebo). Tough times. So tonight, almost 4 yrs. post stage3c colon ca dx. this song especially brought me to tears!

Wow, just 4 days before his family's tragic event :( I saw SCC and MWS in concert last night. He sang this song, and it was amazing....

I have loved this song since it was first recorded. I recently bought a SCC "Greatest Hits" CD in which he says it was written through the pain of his own parents' divorce. It has always brought tears to my eyes, and been my heart's desire that a man would say those words to me. After having been single for 13 yrs, the Lord has blessed me with an AMAZING man of God, and we will use this as we are married this summer. Praise Him for His faithfulness! (And for the gift of song in His people!!)
