the thing I like about star trek is that it wasnt like star wars in that star wars is all about the conflict of space travel

@grishnak84 No star treck online is about the same. You control your ship's movement and the shields and the weapons and the skills at the same time in combat. In EVE you just turn on your weapons and shield re generators and orbit around a person. In STO you have to get in the arc of your weapons before you can fire. It is alot more realistic cause EVE has glitches where you are firing through your ship attack like a pirate.

@simpsonfan13 yes, in the show alot of races were warring. but that was only a one aspect of the show.

@ThatsMrFrank cuz space is dangerous? think about it. the cardassians, the romulans, the klingons, with the exception of the vulcans and tellarites EVERY major alpha quadrant species has been hostile to the Feds at some point. even the ferengi screwed with them a little bit. although more exploration/science for it's own sake would be good.

@grishnak84 no offense but are you retarded! on eve online all you do is fire over an over again. in star trek online you actually need to use abiities and fire on one side of there shp....combat in eve online is by far the worst i have ever seen.

The game is nothing like what cryptic pitched and nothing like this vid and interview.

In 8 months Cryptic have almost made the game unplayable.

It really is the worst MMO since MxO.
