September 9, 2011 - OIDV Survivor, Author, Activist Rosa Torres speaking on Domestic Violence Involving Police at the Annual Hispanic Leadership Summit held at the Aloft Hotel in Mount Laurel, NJ.
The "Bill" Rosaura refers to in the video excerpt and is promoting to be adopted by other states is WA Senate Bill 6161, mandating that all law enforcement agencies have a specific OIDV policy.
Rosa is my personal first choice for who could lead a change in the landscape of officer-involved domestic violence, designing the bridges to bring all the people who can make a difference to the table with love - law makers, survivors, law enforcement, the President of the United States, and even the reluctant professional domestic violence services community. Love is the power. Rosa wants to reach out to countries.
