the show wouldnt have been as funny if Darrin just went along with everything. It's part of the charm. This was a fantastic episode.

Um in case you were wondering, the writers did not WANT to hold women back, do some research and I'm sure you'll find that Elizabeth Montgomery was actually a big creative influence on the show [and she was very big on womens rights] and her husband was the producer and director. The writers were just writing a good SITUATION COMEDY...as in the situations of things get messed up nd its funny. like haha. It had nothing against women, its just the way things were and women have come far from that.
