This is a rare sighting indeed! MDDE 2628 is rarely brought out on train duty. To my knowledge, the last time it was out on train duty was in early October for the town Hurlock's Heritage Days for the "Eastern Shore Special" passenger excursion. We watch 2628 leave Williamsburg, switch in Federalsburg, and make a conductor change at Wright Rd. If the visual image of this engine doesn't get to you, her loud Leslie S-5T horn will! So sit back and enjoy the sights, sounds, and excitement that the eastern shore has to offer.
