  • Dead interesting vid, I hope it'll spread in China and not only. Keep on demonstrate that CanIPA works!

  • /'mεni 'θæŋks/ for your support, Giacomo. I'll try my best to produce better video(s) in the future, improving audio quality too; and just let's hope someone would find this little thing interesting.

Long live our beloved Master and His CanIPA!

REALLY?? :D that's fascinating...awww...now I feel like it that dialect would sound so ugly...being tainted by the schwa....

  • @Crealosa

The schwa is very common in southern Italy, in Campania for example.

  • @real998877

Possibly in the northern dialects that border France, although the development of the schwa (that's what it's called) in any Italian dialect would be absolutely striking....the language has such pure vowels...I mean there are sooo many Italian mini dialects but even there I highly doubt it.

  • ian (Chinese pinyin) = jɛn (IPA)

  • Thanks.

I learned something from this: Italian has no 'ə' sound. But probably in some regions they do use that sound.

  • hoping to see another one !

  • Thks for your sharing~~!! So support for me~~!!
