B# is not the same as C but it is. It's Tertial Structure :) If a song is written in G, you don't right Gb and G you right F# and G. If a piece has B# you don't play C you play B# because there is a C double sharp in the key sig :) but it is the same as C, but not really.

But it's interesting that you compare a static wheelchair-bound scientist with Wayne. They are remarkably similar in terms of stage presence!
