The worn part on the back of the knee is not called whiskars (thats the lines you get going out from your crotch), it's called honey combs.

The only thing I dont understand is the spur comment. Anyone knows jeans do that anyway with or without spurs. Every pair I ever owned ends up torn up on the back of the cuff.
