we should never forget that tolerance and respect of other cultures were the values of El-Andalus. also, and it is very important: Jews were part of the societies they lived in, they had the same cuisine (rare exceptions), same music and very often the same language. Dont be fooled there was no such thing as a Jewish song (in Arabic) in Spain or North African countries, there was only artists and art. Please, lets don't try to separate the nail off the finger.

@BlakeToronto It might be an Sufi interpetation, Sufi's were not antagonistic to
Christian or Jews. They were seekers of truth and were tolerant of others
unlike the religions of today, that believe murder is the 'answer' to those who
choose another path.

Vs ne pouvez pas juste apprécier ce chant sans entrer dans des polémiques à deux sous. Moi j'adore ces voix et ces chants. Faites de même et ne vs compliquez pas la vie, elle est déjà assez compliquée comme cela.

@hit004541 "I Believe in the Religion of Love"
I believe in the religion
Of Love
Whatever direction its caravans may take,
For love is my religion and my faith

@STONEISLAND38 ...If you want to pick on these things why not go for the BIG issues like the present Saudi Monarchy that created your present version of Islam? Why they have alcohol/drug/women fueled orgies...where is their Islam? Instead you pick on these women - you coward dog.
Sure they may be wrong - but who have they hurt? Molested? Killed?
When it comes to knowledge you cant reach Ibn Arabi's toe - Go pick on someone your own size.. like the local fat mullah in your Saudi funded mosque.

It's not a song actually, its a poem, i think the 11th or the 13th ode, probably from the Turyuman al-ashwaq (The interpreter of desires) It's commonly known as "Laqad sara" which means "It has become [my heart]", and it talks about how Ibn 'Arabi's heart has turned into shelter for all beings. It's also mostly known for its verses "Adiinu bi diini el hubbi" and "Al hubbu diini wa imaani" The first one says: i profess the religion of love; and the second one: Love is my religion and my faith...
-
ibn arabi was a sufi smart man from al andalous and he was a tolerent open minded filosofe , in this osong he says his religion is love so whereever love is that is his faith and plus most radical muslims hated him and prosecuted him

Allah gave the Muslims the world when they were Muslims. When the started following lunatics like Ibn Arabi who said everything is Alah including the dog on the street Allah took everything away and humilated them.
excuse me!!! No Jewish song ever begins with the sounds of a Musilm prayer! I will not be fooled.

I don't really know much about this song could you maybe tell more about it so I can change the title???

Ibn Arabi has nothing to do with judaism. He was an Arab Muslim. So you should change your titlevideo title and make it "Arabic song from Al-Andalus" not Andalucia, there is far more different.
