  • hey I missed the war! All guitarmakers you name are great ones and yes there are great martins out there so why argue. If an instrument reaches your soul it´s great. In cases of some companies that would be just coincidence, as other builders or brands are quite cosistent in quality. I own or have owned and played a lot of guitars in the end there is not the ONE guitar but three special ones: one is american, one chinese and one german. Different tools for different purposes. That´s it.

  • Martins are for brain dead old red necks, for pussies who say "I done heard of 'dem paw, cannigetter?" Chinese made guitars sound better than most of the dead box piece of shit martins with no feel I have ever seen. You should probably pour the last of your whiskey out, comb the grits from your beard, and go get a listen to some real instruments..Santa Cruz, Collings, Lichty, Froggy Bottom, Olsen, Greenfield SOOO many better than Martin. Bluegrass is cool... if you starred in Deliverance.

  • Respond to this video... You people that say Martin is junk, or decent at best. It shows you no nothing of a great guitar. You sure the hell can't flat pick, and play real music. Martin is making the best guitars they have ever made. They are still the greatest guitars made today. You talk about being clean, clarity, and your using a bar. Playing one of the shittiest music there is. There is nothing clean about blues. You need to put your crack pipe down, and go shoot your self in the head.

  • @borrowmeadolla You are so full of shit. I own a Yairi Dy 84. It is a very nice guitar. It can't touch my HD-28,or my HD-16R LSH. Martins are a very well balance and a very clean guitar. Maybe you just can't pick. There is one thing for sure Bluegrass pickers aren't using Yamaha's in their recordings. You say drunk, you rock, country, jazz, and blues pickers and fans. You are the biggest drunken drug heads that live. You need to wake up from your untalented computer magic.

  • @bluegrasssingingman Martin is decent at best now-a-days. Old stuff is hard to beat. Yairi and martin are 2 totally different animals. Yairis are very Clean. So they are a great studio guitar. Most of the "Martins" you think you hear on recordings, are usually vintage Japanese acoustics. Martins aren't so designed for clarity, hence an excellent outdoor/concert type guitar. Clarity is not so much in demand, and the boominess sounds awesome to 60,000 drunk patrons. Not for guys with 50k stereos.

  • @borrowmeadolla Yairi is a nice guitar, but Martin blows them away.

  • Nothing like a Yairi.

  • Damn!
