  • stupid

  • @bundle12 I respect that using other hardware or software, because OSX is holding them back, is often necessary. I don't hate on that. I actually find that quite impressive. I just hate on people hating on macs just cause. My last tower lasted me over 10 years. In that time some of my pc user friends have bought 5 or more. The quality and user experience is a better choice for the average user imo. You sound like you're doing some more serious work than just using MSword and downloading viruses.

  • @jeroliver Simple fact is that I just need something bit more powerful for my work, therefore it’s one of my needs. If I could you use the Mac OS with custom hardware, I would. In fact I probably never touch Windows again. But apple have everything all closed and exclusive, so that’s impossible. I guess it’s still opinion with one not being wholly better than the other, just whatever suits, so no need to hate.

  • @bundle12 Latest fad? I've been using a mac for over 25 years. No regrets. More powerful programs? wtf? I use programs based on my needs, not how powerful they are. I use Adobe, final cut and 3d max and I'm always flying. Have fun w your pc.

  • @jeroliver Its a computer mate, its not meant to improve social skills, or help you pick up. Anyone who buys one for that is missing the plot. Nothing against Mac's (which are technically 'PCs') love the interface and all the shinny features. But if i need a customized computing experience for a day to day basis with more powerful programs, a Mac is the last place I'd look. And if i need advice on tech, I will go straight to a geek, not some hipster who needs the latest fad.

  • Alarm goes off... David looks over left shoulder thinking, "DONT SHOOT ME!"

  • yeah simplicity sells
