She wrote: My name is Guillermina Gómez Saavedra, I am 25 years old from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am the 2nd oldest in a family of 4. I was born in Buenos Aies, I have lived in Patagonia for a good majority of my life, but now I'm back in the city. 4 years ago I graduated from the University "Film Center" in Barcelona, Spain, with a Bachelor of Scrip writter and Directing Cinema Studies. I live with my fiance Paulo, who is a tv producer him self. Making movies is something I enjoyed since childhood. For three yeas I have been working in a TV Company, first y started as an Director assistant, now I'm directing a TV program for children.
I believe that film is a great media outlet to cause social change within our society.I think one of the biggest problems in our society today is people without a home. This is why I chose to make my film "Art Slap!" on homelessness. I hope to open eyes, ears and hearts, and bring a social awareness to this devastating problem in America and the world.
