I cant say it enough but I despise expert village their videos suck so bad and they don't teach you anything. And where do these "experts" come from? I mean no offense to this dude but his drums sound pretty bad on this video and is this supposed to be ideas for a fill or something? Very confused.

learn to hold th sticks right before you try teachin beginners how to play a set. not sposed to grip tht tight, let it alil loose, bottom of stick should hit palm of yr hand. play a concert like tht and yr hand will tire out faster, play th right way and it wont.
