It isn't.
And it is stupid to think a GTX 460 is more powerful than the GTX 295.
Hell a GTX 460 just BARELY outperforms a GTX 285.

@waseem1173 well i have a GTX460 1gb edition and it runs quite cool with the default fan (going to wait to get a 580 before getting another water brick) it runs when playing Deus Ex (which is the heaviest game i got apart from crysis 2) aand it just reached 40c stays 38 usually and idle around 34c.

Sorry but this clearly demonstrates how never to handle a static sensitive device, also the acid in the oil on your fingers will corrode the copper contacts and cause the card to be unstable latter on even if you have not killed a few thousand transistors with static or ruined the ram on the board. You really should demonstrate to people that there are static bags on these cards for a reason, should not touch any part of the circuit board or connector.

In all honesty though, unless you render high end models or are a benchmark gamer, one of these is more than enough.
