Plot:
When decorated soldier Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. In an assignment unlike any he's ever known, he learns he's part of a government experiment called the "Source Code," a program that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last 8 minutes of his life. With a second, much larger target threatening to kill millions in downtown Chicago, Colter re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack.

I just watched this movie last night, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. It touches on ethics, military code , value of life, and the technological and moral uses that interfere with everything mentioned. Fantastic movie!

Saktoth. They said it wasn't possible to send a man to the moon in 1921 so whose to say a mission to another universe isn't possible? lol this general humanity is so pushed down into such logical thinking its scary how unconscious humanity is becoming, people are losing there grip on possibilities because they are getting over use to the world. it is certainly possible and humanity needs to re-open our eyes or we will be blind and its okay to have fun and enjoy this world but dont pressume.

Source code is about Quantum Mechanics, parabolic calculus, it's complex!

This is like the animus in that it exploits the ability to look into the past for information that is otherwise hidden or unavailable in the present...however the difference is that Stevens does not de-synchronize should he deviate from what happened in the original timeline. Or so that's how I'm interpreting him getting put into a alternate universe that lags 8 mins behind his original universe. Either way, it's very interesting to think about...great movie!
