The original Master Cleanser diet/fast otherwise known as the Lemonade Diet is a complete body detoxifying cleanse that has been around for over 60 years.

The most successful of any diet of its type, has recently been made famous by Beyonce Knowles, Ashanti, and Isaac Hayes.

Originally developed by Stanley Burroughs in 1941, the program was first used to treat ulcers.

Later it was discovered to be a successful treatment of many other diseases, a disease preventative tool, and a contributor to maintaining overall good health.

It's the easiest way to regain your vitality, and to give a rest to your digestive organs, allowing your body to repair and clean out.

This is my experience through the 10 Day Fast starting out in the first month of the year, January 2008...ENJOY!

  • You seem like alot of fun! I love your energy!!! You are right, you have to mentally prepare yourself for this journey, that is why I'm starting this weekend. Do you know if it's safe to do extreme aerobice (bootcamp fitness) while on this...not trying to pass out.

  • U might not wan't to do some extreme workouts, but I would suggest some light cardio. U can definately go on walks and from time to time jog, but no extreme activities! Once ur done, the sky's the limit!

  • Wow..That was alooot of salt at the bottom of the glass. I'm doing Master Cleanse also and I figured if I just stirred the salt in well with the water, it wouldn't be so bad and it's actually not!

  • Yeah, ur right! I had to learn that the hard way=) After the first day, I started to stir in the salt with the water & it did taste better....A LOT Better! Enjoy ur journey & thanks for watching.

  • I kinda felt that way on my 5th. day...but, after I took my drink..., I felt ok.

  • Yeah? Wow! Well..., on my 3rd. day..., my stomach was on FIRE...but, I still stuck with it. I heard, that feeling is apart of the healing process for gas or, ulcers...and, before I started the cleanse..., I had bad gas/indigestion! This morning..., my energy level did feel kinda low...but, after I dranked my lemonade..., I felt prettygood, afterwards. The only thing that's troubling me is, the GOOD AZZ SMELLING FOOD that, my girl cooks, everynight! Lol.. ;-)

  • No energy. Basically you're starving yourself. by the sixth day, i couldn't get out of bed.

  • Really? I thought, the benefits of the maple sryup supposed to keep your body full of the nutrients you need, daily. You looked like, you was alright when, you was doing it, though! I guess, I better get some powdered cayenne pepper and, actual sea salt...instead of, using hot sauce and, epsom salt. I not sure if, I've heard of the whole body cleanse, yet. What is that?

  • yes, i used cayenne powder and use actual sea salt. Just to let you know, I was absolutely sick because my body was getting no nutrients. I would suggst doing the whole body cleanse instead and joining a gym.

  • It's ok to do whatever you want during the cleanse. As long as, you take your drinks(as prompted)..., you'll be fine! I'm on my 2nd. day...and, I was hittin' the gym, HARD! I'd say..., working out helps your blood flow stronger and, better to help with the cleanse! ;-)
