No Dionysus, no Ares, no Clarisse, missed a MAJOR fight scene between Percy and Ares... ned I say more, guys? Before you waste your money buying/renting this movie, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE read the books, because they are better.

There's no arguing Harry Potter is better, but she shouldn't be comparing, especially seeing as the Percy Jackson movie was absolutely nothing like the book.
Her comments were ridiculous and prejudiced. If she was trying to be funny, well she just failed. Books are very personal. I love HP more than any other book series because I grew up reading HP. But Percy Jackson books are great too. No need to compare. Other wise everyone would have to love LOTR above all other fantasy books.
