Ohio State University Professor Tim Cummiskey presents a clinic on the use of triad pairs over chord changes, which typifies the "modern" sound in jazz improvisation. Mr. PC, a minor blues (key of C minor) is used to illustrate. Tim is playing his Benedetto archtop (modified Howard Alden model with heavy gauge tapewound strings) through a Henriksen Jazz Amp head and original series Raezer's Edge cabinet with 10-inch speaker. Filmed by Scot Gormley on 3/4/2011. Part 2 of 3.
