No other song I've heard is such perfect commentary on the human condition. Mistakes, regrets, lost youth. Never enough time. All we can do is appreciate what we have while we still have it, and love each other. I'm only 28 but feeling the pull of 30 and even I'm asking, "where did the years go?" This song, while gorgeous in its own right, should also be motivation for younger people. Don't waste the only life you have. Sorry for the maudlin sentimentality, but life is too precious to squander.

i cant imagine the pain u feel. i know that since my girl left , i ache every minute, every day. my best times are when i sleep & don't think about her. she was a once in a lifetime thing and i wish i would have treated her like gold!! we were amazing together. the peace i draw is that i have those memories. they are bittersweet because i wish we were still making memories, but we did have our time in the sun. i wish you the best my friend. i will pray for you and that ur pain lessens each day
