  • "For Whom the Bell Tolls" is definitely the best. But, I can't deny my tears when Frederick walks back to the hotel in the rain.

  • I must agree with him. I commenced my admiration for Hemingway in the early eighties. I was surprised to see that many of my female friends, on the grounds that they considered Hemingway misogynist and as the premier representative of 'dick-lit'.
