Boitha Maro is a Goalpariya folk rock number by the band East India Company.

'Goalpariya' is a dialect of Assamese language. It is named after the erswhile Goalpara district of Assam, India. Now it is largely spoken in Dhubri, Goalpara, Kokrajhar and Bongaigaon districts of Assam.

Pratima Barua Pandey (1935-2002) from the royal family of Gauripur in lower Assam's Dhubri district was the exponent of Goalpariya folk songs. She has been awarded the coveted Padmashree and Sangeet Natak Akademi for her pioneering efforts in popularising Goalpariya lokageet.
