In Memory of Amelie - My beloved Cocker Spaniel

In memory of my beloved cocker spaniel Amelie. I adopted Amelie when she was 10 years old in 2008. She had been used as a breeding machine all her life, and then was dumped at a high kill shelter. Oldies But Goodies Cocker Spaniel Rescue took her in and I fell in love with her at first sight! I only had her for 20 months before cancer took her. The memories we made during that short time were full of love and happiness...some of the best of my life.

She had live a happy life when she met you, God bless you, I also recently lost my belove dog Jessica, she also a cooker spaniel, miss her so much, may adopt another one soon.

I wanted to add that your baby looked just like my cocker Gloria,and actions down to the licking the kitchen tile clean of food. y husband and I cried through the whole video holding our Gloria and talking about our Shadow.. Thank you for sharing your Amelie with the world, she was here and she was awesome.

you the greatest thing, you loved, adopted, a puppy mill dog, an old dog, you gave an old dog for the first time in her life love and a home... Thats beautiful. My shadow was 10 years old when I got him, had been abused and neglected most if not all his life, the last 5 years I loved him silly, spoiled him rotten, and he healed my broken heart..
