http://www.ChrisD.ca A flash mob made up of about 100 dancers invaded Polo Park Shopping Centre for the launch of the Move 'N Groove-a-Thon 2011 fundraiser. Money raised will go to support the Movement Centre of Manitoba, a non-profit organization committed to improving the physical health of children and adults with physical disabilities. Video: WpgCameraMan & Chris Gaudry
This would have been rather funny in ANY city, but "Winterpeg", even funnier... I hope they paid a "dancing in public" tax and asked politely if they could do this... Polo Park is rather a BIG shopping centre...
Hooray for all the volunteers who made up the flash mob! Excellent way to get some publicity for the cause, and entertaining for all of us who watch and/or get caught up in the infectious music.
Looks like a lot of fun... and proceeds going to a wonderful cause.... probably important for people here to know more about what the Movement Centre does in the Community
This isnt a Flash mob I was there and it was scheduled
