Fantastic opening to what is sadly a pretty mediocre, sometimes outright dull miniseries.

Though I have to laugh at the attempt to create tension at the closing gate that will LOCK THEM IN FOREVAH!!! That thing looks like a stiff breeze would blow it over.

@Prankster36 Agreed my friend it is a bit dated. However it was watchable and funny at times. My favorite part of this miniseries was the soundtrack. I'd almost kill to get a copy of it. alas I never could lol =).

I've always thought that this was one of the coolest movie intros that I've ever seen.

That part with the game show on is what always really creeped me out, the idea that a whole area could be killed off, and the rest of the world wouldn't know. And then, I thought about this later, within a week, or maybe two, the rest of the world would be just like it.
